Child molester, who made two 5-year-old girls play a game

Colorado – In a severe case of child abuse that has shaken Colorado residents, a 38-year-old man, identified as J. Pinker, was sentenced to over a century in prison for the se-ual assault of two young girls.

The sentence was delivered by Judge V. Vigil, who imposed a 112-year-to-life term on Pinker. This decision came after a jury found Pinker guilty of four counts of se-ual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse in June.

The disturbing events unfolded nearly three years ago but have left an indelible mark on the victims and their families. According to the District Attorney’s Office,

the case came to light when two 5-year-old girls visited a hospital on December 12, 2021. They reported being se-ually assaulted in a home’s basement while visiting a family member.

The young victims recounted a harrowing experience where they were playing a game in the basement. Pinker, exploiting the innocence of their play, joined them into the basement and made them play a game he termed the “kissing” game. This game involved him initiating inappropriate contact with the girls, compelling them to undress and subjecting them to acts far beyond their comprehension. According to court documents, when the girls asked how to play the game, Pinker put his mouth on their privates.

Pinker was initially arrested in January 2022 and was able to secure release on bond. Following his conviction in June, he was taken into custody again and is currently in the process of being transferred to the Department of Corrections to serve his sentence. The case also revealed further victims, with a 17-year-old girl testifying at the sentencing that she had suffered se-ual abuse at Pinker’s hands during her childhood. The teenage girl said Pinker was her mother’s boyfriend at the time and subjected her to the se-ual abuse when she was just 8 years old.

The legal community and local residents have reacted strongly to the revelations and subsequent sentencing. Deputy District Attorney T. McCormack expressed a deep sense of outrage and determination in his statement, emphasizing that Pinker’s actions severely disrupted the lives and innocence of several young children. McCormack stated, “This sentence reflects the gravity of his crimes and the justice deserved for his victims. Protecting children in our community is at the core of our priorities, and while no punishment can undo the harm he caused, the court’s decision ensures that he will never have the chance to harm another child again.” This case has underscored the critical importance of protecting vulnerable members of the community and has shown the legal system’s commitment to addressing and penalizing such grievous offenses severely.

The case has not only brought closure to the victims and their families but also served as a stern reminder of the need for vigilance and proactive measures to safeguard children against predators. The community, galvanized by the incident, continues to advocate for more stringent safety protocols in local homes and public spaces to prevent such tragedies in the future. As this painful chapter concludes with Pinker’s sentencing, the judicial outcome serves as a testament to the justice system’s role in addressing and deterring crimes against children, offering a semblance of peace to the affected families.
