Ashley St. Clair appeared in a relaxed mood after a closed custody hearing with Elon Musk on July 21. The boy was confirmed to have a 99.99% DNA match with the American billionaire.
On July 21, writer and influencer Ashley St. Clair (26 years old) smiled as she walked out of the New York Supreme Court (USA), after a 2-hour closed-door hearing on the custody dispute over the 10-month-old boy believed to be her child with billionaire Elon Musk.
St. Clair attracted attention with his new bob haircut, appearing confident as he left court. The hearing took place in absolute secrecy, with the windows covered to prevent outsiders from seeing, according to the Daily Mail .
After leaving the courtroom, St. Clair appeared relaxed, hugging her attorney before leaving in a taxi. When asked by reporters, she declined to comment. Her attorney, Karen Rosenthal, said simply, “We can’t say anything at this time.”
The lawsuit, which began in February, is said to have caused Musk a lot of trouble. According to court records, the baby boy, whose initials are RSC—his real name is believed to be Romulus—was born in September 2024. St. Clair first made the announcement on Valentine’s Day this year.

Musk was initially said to be hesitant about paternity, but took a DNA test that showed he was 99.99% likely to be the biological father.
According to St. Clair, Musk offered her $15 million and $100,000 a month to keep her pregnancy a secret. However, she decided to take the case to court. After that, the amount of money Musk gave her was significantly reduced, according to her lawyer.
In the lawsuit, St. Clair alleges that Musk “has lost the will to peacefully resolve the custody and support issues.” Although the hearing was described as a “settlement conference,” the two sides have yet to reach an agreement.
St. Clair is asking for full custody of the child. She said she met Musk on the Caribbean island of Saint Barts in January 2023, the two had sex only twice and she became pregnant afterwards.
According to the female KOL, Musk has only met her child three times, was not present when the child was born, and has never expressed any desire to gain custody. She makes all decisions regarding the child herself.
The tech billionaire first became a father in 2002, when his son Nevada Alexander was born with his first wife, writer Justine Musk, but he died after 10 weeks. The couple later had five more children, including twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, 19.
With singer Grimes, Musk has three children: X Æ A-12 (abbreviated as X), Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus. In addition, he also has twins Strider -Azure, daughter Arcadia and son Seldon Lycurgus with Shivon Zilis – Musk’s employee.
Musk has previously been embroiled in a public spat with Grimes over custody of baby X, after the singer said they had agreed to keep their children away from the media. However, he has not followed this rule.
