In response to his wife Kate Middleton’s recent stomach surgery, Prince William, the future king of England, looked solemn at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTAs).
The public had questions regarding the surgery, which was done in secrecy. Prince William alluded to their difficulties by talking about how little he had seen movies because of his wife’s illness.
The couple’s wish for seclusion is similar to King Charles III’s candor over his medical conditions. Although rumors abound, Middleton’s desire for seclusion is clear.
The precise nature of the procedure was not divulged, although Kensington Palace stressed that it is not cancer,
dispelling speculations. Middleton needs the support of her close family during this uncertain time, especially Prince William, who temporarily reduced his royal responsibilities. We expect her back to normal after Easter.
