Taken far too soon. RIP

A person who had a lot of influence on health and wellness died of breast cancer at the young age of 30.

They told Juanita Lira Eguiguren she had the terrible disease for the first time when she was 22 years old, in 2015.

Her family said that she had died on Saturday.

Family members shared an encouraging message that Eguiguren had written before she died.

“Hope is peace for me,” the post said. I think hope can always beat fear.

“We might not be able to change the problems and challenges that life throws at us, but we can change how we take them on and how we live with them.”

It makes me feel good to hold on to my little piece of hope.

Emiguren was the daughter of the mayor of the town of Lo Barnechea in Chile.

They said in a statement, “It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Juanita Lira Eguiguren, but with hope in Heaven.”

She found out she had breast cancer just a few days before she was supposed to go to Barcelona, Spain, to study design.

She said at the time, “I had to cancel the trip and make big changes to all my plans.”

“I had to deal with my illness and put all of my efforts into getting better.”

“I had surgery and radiation therapy, and my body should have no more tumor cells in three months.”

Lira was able to finish her studies and get married while she thought she was getting better.

She had another biopsy in 2017 and was told that her breast cancer had come back. This time, it had spread to her lungs, lymph nodes, and sternum.

Lira made a big choice to change her life and started her own business.
