With heavy hearts, we announce the passing. When you find out who she is, you will cry

Stage 4 breast cancer patient Lizzy Musi dies surrounded by her family after a year-long battle.

After being diagnosed with stage-four breast cancer, street racer Lizzy Musi has died, her father confirmed.

Following her diagnosis, the Mooresville, North Carolina-based star of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings took a break from the show last year.

A statement on Facebook from Musi’s famous dad Pat said, “Surrounded by her family and in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight.”

“Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts during her illness. “The family would like some time to deal with their grief and make plans without being disturbed at this time.” “We will give an update as soon as we have information to share.” After winning three straight competitions in the 2019 season of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings, the racer became an inspiration to women and girls. Her 3.802-second run was the fastest by a woman in eighth-mile doorslammer racing, breaking the 200-mph mark. Later, in July 2014, Lizzy Musi made more history when she won the Professional Drag Racers Association US Drags, becoming the first woman to win a Pro Nitrous national event. People are paying tribute to the 33-year-old racer who was honest about having stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer, which is one of the most aggressive types of breast cancer.

Cancer had spread to Musi’s lymph nodes and liver, but she was still optimistic about her health. She said she had “great news” last month while she was getting cancer treatment in Germany. Although the driver didn’t say more, she had already said that she was going to the Medias Klinikum treatment center in Burghausen, Germany. Earlier this month, Lizzy told Drag Illustrated, “I’ve pretty much tried everything here in the US, and I’ve looked into the doctor and treatment in Germany that can isolate my liver and treat it.” “This hurts my heart,” one fan wrote under Pat’s post on Musi’s Facebook page. “She was such an example for girls.” I enjoyed watching her race.” “One of the best female racers,” said someone else. “Her positive, happy personality was a great example for our younger generations.” Incredibly, this is real. Expressing condolences to her family. Fly high in the sky, Lizzy.” Love you, soul mate Recently, Musi publicly thanked her boyfriend Jeffrey Earnhardt, who is the grandson of famous Nascar driver Dale Earnhardt, for always being there for her. “This guy right here has supported me like no other from sleepless ER nights and dealing with my health to cheering me on at my races,” Musi wrote on social media. “He did amazing this past weekend after a long off-season. I got to watch him do his thing. “@jearnhardt1 #thankful #oneofakind #feelinglove” After her breakup with racecar driver Kyle Kelley in late 2023, they started dating.

An emotional Facebook post from January by Musi gave details about her relationship with Earnhardt. “I found a man when I least expected it, on top of going through the worst time in my life… it didn’t phase him and he has loved me unconditionally since,” she penned. “A hair or no hair, he has seen me at my worst, sick or not…” Numerous calls telling me how beautiful and strong I am; talking on FaceTime without my wig on and still getting compliments… “Jeffrey Earnhardt, I’m seriously grateful for you.” Fans have called Earnhardt her “soulmate” on Instagram and thanked him for “loving her the way she deserved” until the end. Receiving condolences, Earnhardt has not yet made a public statement about her death. He gave us an update on Musi’s return to racing at the end of April, after she competed at Virginia Motorsport Park in her ’69 Camaro named Bonnie. Her partner said what she and the team were doing was “firing on all cylinders.” HEARTBREAK Nineteen months ago, Musi’s co-star on Street Outlaws, Nathan Schaldach (Cali Nate), also died. Natalie passed away on April 6 after a car accident in southwest Texas. The accident happened in Eagle Pass, which is about two hours west of San Antonio. Schaldach was racing. Even though he was taken to the hospital, the racer ultimately died from his injuries. In an emotional Facebook post, his girlfriend Courtney Paulshock confirmed the news, saying that she was “shattered” after losing “her person.” The musician Musi praised her coworker, whom she described as a “hell of a guy.” According to her Instagram post, “Hard to wrap my mind around this one.” “We are all aware of the dangers of riding in these cars. I got to race with Nate while we were filming the street shows in Vegas and California. “A real street racer and excellent person!” “Godspeed.” Concerning Nate and Paulshock’s relationship, Musi asked his fans to pray for his girlfriend who is hurting. “Please keep my good friend @c_paulshockphotography in your thoughts and prayers!” Also, she said. It was clear that they were deeply in love and couldn’t be separated. This makes my heart hurt so much.”
